Myth: It's all right to read your text from the
projection screen
You will probably recognise this situation:
there you are, sitting in the audience at a lecture, while the speaker
just reads aloud what he projects on the screen. He may have his arms
folded over his chest and may even turn his back to the audience – after
all, he can then read the texts more easily! You'll also probably agree
that it's quite unnecessary for him to read from the screen, because your
attention is automatically drawn there each time he shows a new slide.
